I’ve never driven a scooter or golf cart before, can I still rent one?
– Yes, we will teach you everything you need to know before you leave the shop!
How do I rent a scooter? Can I make a reservation?
– Scooters are first come first serve only with no reservation options.
How do I rent a golf cart? Can I make a reservation?
– You may rent a golf cart in person or make a reservation online (here)!
How old do I have to be to rent a scooter/golf cart?
– You must be 18+ and process a valid drivers license. No pictures of IDs will be accepted.
Do I need a valid driver’s license to rent a scooter/golf cart?
– Yes, the ID must be valid. No pictures of IDs will be accepted.
How many people can a scooter accommodate?
– By Michigan law, scooters can only accommodate one person at a time.
How many people can a golf cart accommodate?
– Up to 6 people, depending on the type of golf cart you rent.
Can I keep a scooter/golf cart overnight to return in the morning?
– Scooters must be returned by 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday or 8pm Monday, Thursday – Sunday.
– Golf carts can be rented out for overnight(s). They must be returned to the shop by 11am on the ending rental date.
Do I need to refill the gas on the scooters or golf carts upon return?
– Nope!
Can golf carts be delivered to my location?
– No. They must be picked up at the shop.
Can I drive on the sidewalk?
– Neither golf carts nor scooters can be driven on the sidewalks and must be used on the streets in all of downtown, south beach, north beach, and all residential areas.
What if I rented with the intention of only going for an hour but decide I want to continue the fun?
– You pay when you get back! Just be back by 7 pm on a Tuesday or Wednesday or 8 pm on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday – Sunday.
Do you rent helmets?
– Yes, they are $5.
What is the latest time I can come into the shop to rent a scooter?
– 6 pm is the cut off time for the day to rent a scooter on Tuesday or Wednesday and 7pm on Monday, Thursday – Sunday.
